HQ Facilities Manager

Plan, organize, and project manage HQ facility with an eye on strong customer service including managing competing priorities.
Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures for HQ facilities management.
Coordinate and allocate furnishings and office space as needed. Proactively plan for growth at HQ, including innovative work space for employees, partnering with leadership, managers and the HR team.
Financial accountability related to budget analysis and forecasting for HQ facility operations. Partner closely with FP&A for quarterly building forecasting.
Management of capital projects and other corporate building maintenance projects, records and contracts related to site repairs, maintenance and improvements.
Promote and manage the tenets of the Living Building Pilot Program.
Lead a small HQ facilities team, ensuring that a high level of service is provided to employees, customers, partners and vendors.
Select vendors, negotiate terms for services and manage activities related to outside vendors for corporate maintenance, mail and food services. Manage relationship with onsite cafeteria services.
Manage subtenant requests and partner with Finance to negotiate terms.
Lead Brooks HQ Safety Committee and drive safety initiatives. Manage safety practices to ensure compliance with OSHA including preparation of required reporting.
Lead individuals effectively in line with company values and culture, providing a fun, high energy, collaborative and rewarding team environment.
Demonstrate professionalism and maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive issues.
Lead and oversee the maintenance and inspection of HQ equipment, including creation/execution of a preventative maintenance program.
Liaison with building management and engineer.
Ensure building safety and compliance. Ensure building appearance (interior and exterior) is up to standards (including Safety and Compliance, Energy Management, design concepts, maintenance processes, facility cleanliness and building functionality).
Deliver efficiency, maintenance or innovative improvements to HQ.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with building management through a property manager.
Minimum of 1 year in people management.
Strong project management skills, attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
Experience in corporate facilities design, renovation, repairs and maintenance preferred.
Experience in operating budgets, purchase management and loss prevention preferred.
Computer proficiency: MS Office Suite required; budgeting software a plus.
Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, collaborate well with others, exercise sound judgment, influences others' effectively, and display openness to others' ideas to innovate.
Exceptional customer-service orientation including working effectively with external vendors.
Experience managing relationships with vendors.
Effective decision making and contract negotiation skills.
Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong interpersonal skills including presenting, negotiating and ability to effectively and discreetly handle sensitive or confidential information.
Strong organizational skills including managing multiple competing projects with timelines
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed for building repairs or maintenance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
