Members of our Sales Office team do more than "sell" the warm, engaging and anticipative service that AccorHotels is renowned for ? they live it! Showcase your outstanding interpersonal skills as a Sales & Events Coordinator for the Sales Team, where you will provide organizational and administrative support to your team and memorable service to your guests.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service both to internal and external customers
Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
Prioritize all telephone calls and in-person visitors, scheduling appointments and working with sales team on-site inspections.
Maintain a positive relationship with all guests, vendors, Heartists and global sales network
Prepare and disseminate month-end reports for reporting managers
Provide all administration duties for the Sales office to include: expense reports, travel arrangements and monthly activities for reporting Managers.
Work with reporting Managers to send client proposals and prepare hotel contracts.
Assist with the maintenance of accounts, contact, activity and business details within appropriate software applications such as Opera and Outlook
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
