Strategic Account Manager, Alternate Site (Nationwide)

Thishighly visible position, reporting directly to the Director of Alternate Site,is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and strategic performancegoals by advancing high quality medical supplies, utilizing a solution-basedconcept sale to the Alternate Site marketplace. This newly created roleprovides the opportunity to significantly impact the growth and direction ofthe growing Alternate Site market. The position allows for thedevelopment and leadership of creative business solutions focused on theexpansion of the Medtronic Alternate Site market share.
A Day inthe Life
Drives revenue growth by identifying and managing key product conversion activities through a 1099 sales team and key distribution partners within the US Alternate Site Market.
Builds strategies that deliver on key strategic growth initiatives, such as a private label suture partnership agreement.
Manages complex relationships and influences key market partners across a large geography.
Manages workload in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and at time ambiguous atmosphere.
Sets priorities for and manages a large and fragmented account base through development of scalable selling models.
Oversee distribution and 1099 sales team toward consistently achieving quota of private label suture
Conduct field rides with key 1099 and distribution partner representatives
Act as a field resource to the Marketing Department
Understand and effectively communicate key Alt Site messaging to economic stakeholders, including ASC Director, VP of Materials Management, clinical end users, etc.
Conduct account planning and strategy visits.
Attend quarterly planning sessions with Sales Leaders
Evaluate performance and effectiveness of 1099 and distributor partner sales teams.
Delivers hands-on training to clinical end users, 1099 sales team, and key distribution partners.
Delivers effective messaging related to relevant audiences.
Possesses a strong knowledge base of product features and benefits, specific to key Alternate Site procedures. The primary focus will be on the Wound Closure category.
Analyzes and interprets sales data and translate that into action items.
Collaborates with other colleagues from other COTs, Marketing, Contracts, etc.
Meets and Exceeds assigned quota and sales objectives.
Remains current in the industry/ competitive landscape including GPOs, healthcare economics, competitors and competitive products.
Align with Sales Leaders (Director, VP) on the most significant growth opportunities.
Resolves customer complaints in accordance with Company policy, and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative

MustHave: Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of five years of relevant sales, marketing, or sales support experience with two years of targeted outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment, preferably tangible products (i.e. healthcare industry, healthcare info systems, medical device sales, etc.).
Nice to Have
Demonstrates excellent communication/ presentation skills including presenting to large groups
Ability to effectively analyze complex sales data to create customized business solutions/proposals
Evidence of top sales achievement in multilevel account management is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others around driving results on key initiatives.
Valid Driver's License
Ability to travel extensively within US Region, often involving overnight stays.
Documented history of exceeding customer requirements.
Experience in working with Medical Distribution
Partners to influence focus key conversion activities.
Experience with product launch activities and development of go to market strategies essential to driving growth.
Experience with Medical Distribution and 1099 Sales Teams
Prefer 7 years of relevant outside sales and marketing experience in healthcare.
Demonstrated leadership role in driving key growth initiatives.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
