.NET Developer I

This developer position will join a team of .NET engineers at our customer location in NW Washington, D.C. to build .NET applications using Agile/SCRUM methods to drive our customer's mission and operations.
Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
LOCATION: Washington, D.C.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: A minimum of 5 years of experience.
EDUCATION: BA/BS degree in Information Technology and/or Computer Science. Four additional years of experience or a Technical Certification may be substituted for education/degree
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
JOB STATUS: Full-Time Position with Xgility
TRAVEL: Minimal
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Provide software and implementation support for new applications and existing applications.
Demonstrated experience with the design and development of User Interfaces (UI).
Analyze and develop applications as part of a scrum team
Analyze and manipulate very large data sets.
Clearly communicate (written and orally) technical issues and solutions to non-technical staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft technologies including:
.NET/.NET Core
MVC and WebForms
SharePoint Infopath Forms
Experience with HTML5, CSS, jQuery/ JavaScript
Telerik user controls
WCF Services
Microsoft Visual Studio
SQL Server
Team Foundation Server
Windows Services

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
